Recent Releases and Recommended Reads – December Issue – #AuthorsUnite

There’s been a bit of unrest in Authorland lately as it’s been getting harder and harder for authors to get word of their new book out into the big wide world. There are many theories out there about why it’s so and we can blame Amazon or we can blame Facebook for their lack of visibility, or we could blame a flooded market or we could just start helping each other a little more.

I wrote a post about this a little while ago HERE, in which I announced that I’ll be doing my part by making the effort to find new releases and posting them on my blog and linking that in my monthly newsletter. My thought is that Authorland is a community, whether you’re indie or whether your traditional or hybrid. The world is changing and we need to stick together and help in anyway we can. It takes a village to raise a child, and our books are our babies. Let’s help each other have the best chance we can.

Thanks for advertising new releases. I buy majority of my book on Amazon and every blue moon on Smashwords. If it wasn’t for Goodreads and Facebook, I would be clueless on what books to read, when they were coming out, id it a series and etc. I love your comment about it taking a village to raise a child and these books are your babies……….. I love to see authors coming together to help one another.
